WOOD STOVE

How to Use the Morsø Wood Stove

Please follow these steps for a safe and cozy fire:

1. Open the Air Vent

Locate the air control lever and fully open it to allow maximum airflow during startup.

2. Prepare the Firebox

Slowly open the stove door to prevent smoke from escaping.

Place 1–2 fire starters or crumpled newspaper at the bottom.

Add a small stack of kindling (thin sticks) in a crisscross pattern.

Place 1–2 small logs on top.

⚠ Do not overload the stove — leave space for proper airflow.

3. Light the Fire

Light the fire starters or newspaper.

Close the door most of the way, leaving about a 1-inch gap for 5–10 minutes to help establish a strong draft.

Once the flames are steady and the logs are burning well, close the door fully.

4. Add More Wood (If Needed)

Wait until the existing logs have mostly turned to glowing embers.

Slowly open the door (use a heat-resistant glove).

Add additional logs as needed.

5. Winding Down

Stop adding wood a few hours before you plan to let the fire go out.

Never use water to extinguish the fire.
